- Реальный факт: боится лифтов, поэтому не войдёт. Нереальное условие второго типа: If she were not afraid of lifts, she would come in. Слово were обязательно для всех лиц в такой конструкции.
- Факт: болеет, потому что плохо питается. Раз в главной части wouldn't be ill, нужен Past Simple: If he didn't have such a poor diet — «если бы не питался так плохо».
- I wish + Past Perfect (сожаление о прошлом): I wish we had not missed Doug's art exhibition («если бы мы не пропустили»).
- unless = if … not. «Если вы не уйдёте сейчас, мы не успеем» → «Мы не успеем, unless we leave now» (после unless Present Simple, отрицание уже в слове unless).
- Третий тип: If he had stopped at the traffic light, he wouldn't have had an accident («если бы остановился на светофоре»).
