Writing. My last school day. Write 5–6 sentences about your yesterday at school. Use Past Simple.

Решение

Идём по плану и подставляем в полезные фразы конкретные данные. Глаголы ставим в Past Simple: get — got, have — had, go — went, do — did, be — was.

Вставляем время подъёма: got up at o'clock.
Завтрак и дорога: had breakfast, went to school by bus.
Уроки: had five lessons, назовём предметы.
Любимый предмет и причина: was English, because it was interesting.
После школы: did my homework.
Вечером: watched TV, и в конце — настроение: was happy.

💡 Почему так

Правильные глаголы в Past Simple получают окончание -ed (watch — watched), неправильные нужно запомнить (get — got, have — had, go — went). Глагол to be в прошедшем времени: was / were.

Вопрос о времени — отвечаем: I got up at o'clock.
Вопрос Did you...? — короткий ответ Yes, I did. и уточнение.
Вопрос с was — I was Maths (любимый предмет) и причина.
Вопрос Did you like...? — Yes, I did. и причина с because.

💡 Почему так

В вопросах Past Simple используется вспомогательный глагол did, а основной глагол остаётся в начальной форме: Did you do...? Краткий ответ: Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.
