Пишем рассказ в прошедшем времени (Past Simple, Past Continuous), события идут в том порядке, в котором они произошли. Используем слова-связки: first, then, suddenly, after that, finally.
В рассказе события располагают в порядке, в котором они происходили. Для этого используют Past Simple и слова-связки (first, then, suddenly, finally). Кульминация (climax) — самый напряжённый момент истории.
The Cave in the Forest
Last summer, Tom and his sister Kate went hiking in the forest near their grandparents' village. It was a sunny Saturday morning, and they were very excited.
First, they walked along a narrow path for two hours. Then they realised that they were lost. Kate felt scared, but Tom said, "Don't worry! Let's find a way out."
Suddenly, they saw a dark cave and heard a strange noise inside. They went in slowly. Their hearts were beating fast! In the cave they found a small, hungry puppy.
They took the puppy and finally found the road home. Their grandparents were happy to see them. The children were tired but very proud. They kept the puppy and called it Lucky.
