- Why did you decide → she asked him why he had decided to become a rescue worker. (Past Simple → Past Perfect).
- Where did you get → where he had got his training.
- How many hours a week do you work → how many hours a week he worked. (Present Simple → Past Simple).
- Do you use → if he used hi-tech medical equipment (общий вопрос → if/whether).
- Have you ever been → if he had ever been in serious danger.
- What is the worst thing → what the worst thing about his job was. (is → was, глагол в конце).
