Hunter's owner, Mr Taylor, was fishing from the deck of his boat when he suddenly fell off the deck into the river. He could not swim well and nobody was near.
Hunter realised that he had to act quickly. He ran to the car where Mr Taylor's friend was sleeping and kept barking and scratching at the door until the friend woke up. The friend ran to the river and pulled the man out of the water.
Mr Taylor said, "I'm very grateful to Hunter. He is a real hero." The friend was shocked but happy, and he wants to adopt Hunter.
