В вопросах и отрицаниях смысловой глагол возвращается в начальную форму, потому что прошедшее время уже выражено словом did.

Поставьте глагол в правильную форму употребляя прошедшее время
meet- play- open-
go- say- read-
be- write- see-
take- like- give-
live- count- look-
get- bring- tell-
Правильные глаголы образуют прошедшее время с помощью -ed (если глагол оканчивается на -e, добавляется только -d). Неправильные глаголы нужно запомнить (вторая форма).
- play → played, open → opened, count → counted, look → looked (+ -ed)
- like → liked, live → lived (+ -d)
- meet → met, go → went, say → said, read → read (пишется так же, читается [red]), be → was/were, write → wrote, see → saw, take → took, give → gave, get → got, bring → brought, tell → told (неправильные)
