Prepositions of place
a) Listen and then make sentences.
Подписи к картинкам: on, in, under, behind, next to, in front of, between, opposite. Пример: The ball is on the box.
b) Complete the text with the correct prepositions. Listen and check.

a) Берём подпись под каждой картинкой и ставим её после слов «The ball is …»:
- The ball is in the box.
- The ball is under the box.
- The ball is behind the box.
- The ball is next to the box.
- The ball is in front of the box.
- The ball is between the boxes.
- The ball is opposite the box.
b) Выбираем предлог по смыслу, глядя на картинку кухни:
- Холодильник стоит рядом со столешницей — next to.
- Холодильник стоит напротив стола — opposite.
- Стол стоит у окон, перед ними — in front of.
- Стол окружён стульями, то есть стоит между ними — between.
- Журналы лежат на столе — on.
- Шкафы висят на стене — on.
- Чайник стоит между тостером и сушилкой для посуды — between.
- Посуда лежит в сушилке — in.
- Посудомоечная машина стоит под сушилкой (под столешницей) — Under.
Предлоги места показывают, где находится предмет. On — на поверхности, in — внутри, between — между двумя или несколькими предметами, opposite — напротив, next to — рядом, under — под, in front of — перед.
