My Typical Weekend
My favourite days of the week are Saturday and Sunday because I don't have to go to school and I can relax.
On Saturday I usually get up at nine o'clock. First, I make my bed and have breakfast with my family. Mum often cooks pancakes, and I love them. Then I help her tidy my room and do some homework.
After lunch I go out with my friends. We often play football in the yard or ride our bikes in the park. Sometimes we go to the cinema or have ice cream. I come home at about six o'clock.
In the evening my family and I have dinner together. After that we usually watch a film or play board games. Before bed I read an interesting book for half an hour.
On Sunday I get up a little later. I like to visit my grandparents. They live near our house, and my grandmother makes delicious apple pie. In the afternoon I do my homework for Monday and prepare my school bag.
I really like my weekends because I can rest, spend time with my family and friends, and get ready for a new school week.
