eyes are playing tricks on you — «глаза тебя обманывают» (are playing — Present Continuous).
Children's stories teach young children important lessons — подлежащее stories во множественном числе, поэтому глагол без -es.
I fail to see the humour — «я не вижу юмора».
Janet is having lots of fun with her new toys — «Дженет получает массу удовольствия от новых игрушек» (is having — Present Continuous; в тетради пропуски стоят так: «is ... lots of ... her new toys», поэтому в первый пишем having, во второй fun with).
