4 (complain) • When Lisa starts talking about how awful her old car is, she can go on ............ for hours! • First she says she likes doing the housework all by herself, and then she goes on ............ that no one ever helps her!

- try doing — пробовать (как эксперимент): try doing some of your chores. try to do — пытаться, прикладывать усилие: Olga tried to do her errands.
- remember doing — помнить, что сделал раньше: I remember telling them. remember to do — не забыть сделать: Did you remember to tell our new neighbours…
- stop to do — остановиться, чтобы сделать (цель): stop to ask that man for directions. stop doing — прекратить: stop asking so many silly questions.
- go on doing — продолжать то же самое: go on complaining for hours. go on to do — перейти к следующему действию: goes on to complain that no one helps her.
