Put the verbs in brackets in the past continuous. (Поставь глаголы в скобках в past continuous.)
1 A: What ___ (you/do) last night at 7:00 pm?
B: I ___ (chat) on the Internet with my friends.
2 A: What ___ (your parents/do) at 5:30 pm yesterday?
B: They ___ (cook) dinner.
3 A: ___ (your sister/sleep) at 8:00 am this morning?
B: No, she ___ (not/sleep). She ___ (take) a shower.

Решение

Past Continuous — действие, которое шло в конкретный момент прошлого. Форма: was/were + глагол с -ing. С I, he, she, it — was; с you, we, they — were. В вопросе was/were стоит перед подлежащим, в отрицании добавляем not.
«Что ты делал вчера в вечера?» — were you doing; «Я болтал в интернете» — I was chatting.
«Что делали твои родители» — were your parents doing (parents — они, were); «Они готовили ужин» — They were cooking.
Общий вопрос: Was your sister sleeping? (sister — она, was); краткий отрицательный ответ — she wasn't sleeping; «принимала душ» — she was taking.

Ответ

A: What were you doing last night at : pm? B: I was chatting on the Internet with my friends.
A: What were your parents doing at : pm yesterday? B: They were cooking dinner.
A: Was your sister sleeping at : am this morning? B: No, she wasn't sleeping. She was taking a shower.
