с. № c Reported speech: речевые пузыри

A "I have to study tonight." B "What time does your plane land?" C "I've heard that the Chinese restaurant in Camden Street is really good." D "Can I give you a lift?" E "Where did you find them?" F "Go away, Alex!"

1 ☐ I was picking him up from the airport, so I ___.
2 ☐ Susan had a test the following morning, so she ___.
3 ☐ Danielle found my keys, so I ___.
4 ☐ Ann wanted to be alone, so she ___.
5 ☐ We were talking about where to have dinner and Tim ___.
6 ☐ Jenny was about to walk home in the rain, so I ___.

(Present Simple → Past Simple, have to → had to, Present Perfect → Past Perfect), меняем местоимения и обстоятельства (tonight → that night), порядок слов в вопросе делаем прямым (без do/does и инверсии).

B. «What time does your plane land?» → I asked him what time his plane landed. (does land → landed; в косвенном вопросе нет вспомогательного does.)
A. «I have to study tonight.» → she said (that) she had to study that night. (have to → had to; tonight → that night.)
E. «Where did you find them?» → I asked her where she had found them. (did find → had found; you → she.)
— приказ: she told Alex to go away.
  5. Обсуждали, где поужинать → C. «I've heard that the Chinese restaurant … is really good.» → Tim said (that) he had heard that the Chinese restaurant in Camden Street was really good. (have heard → had heard; is → was.)
  6. Дженни собиралась идти под дождём → D. «Can I give you a lift?» → I asked her if I could give her a lift. (Can → could; вопрос без вопросительного слова — if.)
