Пример (длинные и короткие волосы) уже дан в условии. Остальные строки таблицы пишем про Lily по тому же образцу: used to + глагол для того, что было раньше, а после but now — настоящее время.
- Lily used to live in a village, but now she lives in a city.

- Lily didn't use to have a pet, but now she has a dog.
Used to + глагол в начальной форме описывает привычку или состояние в прошлом, которых сейчас нет. Отрицание — didn't use to (без -d). После but now глагол стоит в Present Simple: she lives, she goes, she loves, she has.

Complete the sentences with the Past Simple form of the verbs in brackets.

- meet → met (неправильный глагол).
- buy → bought, sit → sat (неправильные глаголы).
- bring → brought.
- take → took.
- play → played (правильный глагол, добавляем -ed).
- Отрицание: did not (didn't) + win.
- Вопрос без вопросительного слова: Did + подлежащее + начальная форма: Did you go.
- Вопрос с what: What did you do.
В вопросах и отрицаниях Past Simple нужен вспомогательный глагол did, а основной глагол стоит в начальной форме (didn't win, Did you go). В утвердительных предложениях неправильные глаголы берут вторую форму, правильные — окончание -ed.
