Считаем предметы на рисунке и отвечаем полным предложением. Если предмет один, говорим There is one…, если несколько — There are … (с множественным числом).
- Цветные карандаши (crayons) торчат из коробки, их видно
: There are six crayons. - Блокнот коричневый один: There is one notebook.
- Линейки красная и синяя: There are two rulers.
- Карандаши оранжевый, жёлтый, голубой и зелёный: There are four pencils.
- Ластики красно-белый, фиолетово-белый и справа бело-оранжевый: There are three erasers.
- Синий пенал один: There is one pencil case.
- Красные ножницы одни: There is one scissors.
- Зелёная точилка одна: There is one pencil sharpener.
- Стопка книг: There are three books.
- Клей один: There is one glue.
There is используют с единственным числом, There are — с множественным. Слово scissors (ножницы) всегда во множественном числе, но в ответе можно сказать и «There is one pair of scissors». Crayons на рисунке мелкие, поэтому число могло быть посчитано неточно, проверь по своему рисунку.
