После "want to" нужен глагол: escape from the pressures — «убежать от стресса».
Перед snakes нужно прилагательное: poisonous snakes. Укусы могут быть смертельными: fatal.

Alligators and snakes are reptiles — «пресмыкающиеся».
The bog can swallow anything — «болото может поглотить что угодно».
