💡 Почему так

Правильные глаголы в Past Simple получают -ed (rescue → rescued, try → tried). Неправильные надо запомнить: go — went, buy — bought, eat — ate, fly — flew, catch — caught. Отрицание образуется с did not + начальная форма глагола, а be в отрицании: was not / were not.
