Решение

Make out значит «разобрать, разглядеть»; из-за тумана номер дома нельзя было различить.
Make off with значит «скрыться с украденным»; вор унёс телевизор и DVD-плеер.
Make up for значит «загладить, возместить»; шоколад — попытка загладить разбитую вазу.
Make up значит «выдумывать»; речь о придуманных историях.
What do you make of ...? означает «что ты думаешь о ...?». Каждая частица используется один раз.
