“Don’t take a lot of things with you.” → She told me not to take a lot of things with me.

a) Повелительное предложение при пересказе превращается в told + адресат + to + глагол. В отрицательном приказе ставим not to + глагол. Личные местоимения меняются в зависимости от того, кому дали совет: your → my, you → I.
b) Представим, что все советы дал нам туристический агент. Have → told me to have; leave и call — два однородных действия, оба относятся к совету. Learn → to learn. В трёх запретах Do not заменяется на told me not to. Itinerary — маршрут поездки, unattended — без присмотра, amounts of cash — суммы наличных. В последнем сообщении «you are» при пересказе от моего лица становится «I was», поскольку исходное высказывание передано после told.
