Решение

После told обязательно указывают адресата без предлога: told me, told his parents. После said прямого дополнения нет; если нужно назвать адресата, говорят said to me. Поэтому в перед me ставим told. Во после пропуска сразу идёт сообщение без адресата — said. В слова говорящих стоят после прямой речи, адресата нет — said. В his parents обозначает адресата — told. В также нет адресата — said. Формы прошедшего времени already даны контекстом.
