Rewrite the text into the Passive Voice.
Last week, the Mayor opened Bluemoore’s new shopping mall. They gave him a tour and introduced him to some shop owners. Then, they took him to lunch in the restaurant. The Mayor told them that he had enjoyed the visit very much.
При преобразовании дополнение становится подлежащим, а Past Simple Active превращается в was/were + третья форма глагола. «The Mayor opened the mall» → «the mall was opened by the Mayor». Для «gave him a tour» берём him как новое подлежащее: he was given a tour. «Introduced him» → he was introduced; «took him» → he was taken. В последней фразе передаём слова мэра пассивно: «They were told by the Mayor ...». Внутри придаточного «he had enjoyed» оставляем Past Perfect: событие визита предшествовало сообщению о нём. «By them» там, где исполнитель не важен, можно опустить.
