1 Pam: I have never been to a nicer place. — Pam said she had never been to a nicer place.
2 Joe: Paul joined us later because he missed his flight.
3 Sue: We will show you the photos as soon as they are printed.
4 Leslie: The local cuisine is delicious.
5 Kate: I can’t wait to show you the souvenirs we bought for everyone.
6 Paul: I’m planning to go there again.
7 Mike: We got lost as we were walking through the city centre.

После said сдвигаем время назад, потому что передаём слова друзей позже. : joined/missed → had joined/had missed; us относится к группе Джо, поэтому them. : will → would; we → they; are printed → were printed. : is → was. : can’t → couldn’t, bought → had bought. : am planning → was planning, there остаётся «там». : got lost → had got lost; действие were walking происходило одновременно с тем, как они заблудились, поэтому сохраняем were walking. Местоимение you заменяем на me: друзья обещали показать фотографии и сувениры рассказчику.
