What a day!
One afternoon, three weeks ago, Terry decided to take his pet snake out for a walk. He put the snake in a basket, got into his car and drove to the park.
At the park Terry took the snake out of the basket and played with it. Then he put it back in the basket and read a book. Fifteen minutes later he looked in the basket. The snake was not there!
Terry looked everywhere. He started shouting and called the police. The people in the park were scared and everyone left. The police couldn't find the snake.
Terry was very sad and drove home. Suddenly he noticed his snake! It was sleeping on the floor of the car. Finally, they were both happy.
