a) Read the dialogue. Replace the highlighted words in sentences 1-3 with words from the dialogue.
1 It is small. — the kitchen
2 It is upstairs.
3 This is his favourite colour.
Ryan: Which house is it, Dad?
Dad: This one. Here we are.
Ryan: Wow! It’s great and the garden is beautiful.
Dad: I’ve got the key. Let’s go in.
Ryan: This is nice. The living room is very big.
Dad: Yes, but the kitchen is quite small. Let’s go upstairs.
Ryan: Which is my bedroom?
Dad: This one here. It’s your favourite colour - blue.
Ryan: It’s great, Dad!
b) Look at the pictures. Which is their house?

В предложении выделенное It заменяем словами the kitchen: отец прямо говорит the kitchen is quite small. В предложении It заменяем на my bedroom: Райан спрашивает, какая спальня его, когда герои поднялись наверх. В предложении This указывает на blue, любимый цвет мальчика. Остальные слова данных предложений сохраняем. На фотографии A показан одноэтажный дом; на B видны окна верхнего этажа. Поскольку герои поднимаются наверх, выбираем B.
