It was late and the streets were empty as I was going back home after work last Friday evening. Suddenly, out of the blue, a man appeared from behind a corner. He tried to mug me. He threatened me and said, "Give me your bag!" Then he grabbed it and attacked me when I tried to hold it. I screamed loudly and a couple walking nearby ran to help. The criminal dropped my bag and ran away. I called the police. Later at the police station I was able to identify him from a photo. He was a well-known criminal and the police arrested him the next day.
